Work Styles: Reading People, Flexibility and Responsiveness
(45 minute speech, half to one-day workshop)
|
Staff particularly enjoyed the informal, interactive style of your presentation, and they continued to discuss the Myers-Briggs Inventories for several days following the meeting. I very much appreciate your flexibility in shifting the focus of discussion to particular work situations brought up. You gave us some ideas and strategies to think about!

Participants assess their work style (using The Myers' Briggs Type Inventory or DISC) to appreciate their own strengths and challenges. Then I facilitate a dynamic group process in which participants teach others about their style and work preferences. Topics include influence, leadership, decision making, motivation, stress, ways to embrace change, organization of work space, etc. It's fun and enlightening - a great team building exercise too.
Benefits:
- Understand and appreciate your style - decision making, leadership, relating, dealing with change and stress.
- Understand others' style and issues, read people skillfully.
- Promote understanding and flexibility in working relationships.
- Influence and support others more effectively.
- Be responsive and flexible with coworkers and customers.
